Michael Brian Ogden

Michael Brian Ogden, a Purple Rose resident artist, currently starring in The Meaning of Almost Everything, has previously appeared in Superior Donuts, White Buffalo, Escanaba in da Moonlight, Corktown, Our Town, Bleeding Red, Apartment 3A and Growing Pretty. His plays Bleeding Red and Corktown received their world premiere productions at the PRTC and he continues to write and develop new work for the stage. Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Western Michigan University and his Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Wayne State University’s Hilberry Theatre where he appeared as Elyot in Private Lives, Chance Wayne in Sweet Bird of Youth, Marc Antony in Julius Caesar, Doalty in Translations and Enobarbus in Antony and Cleopatra. Other stage credits include Henry V, Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet at Waterworks Theatre Company, Every Christmas Story Ever Told at Tipping Point Theatre, and The God of Isaac at the Jewish Ensemble Theatre. He also studied with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Moscow Art Theatre and the Society of American Fight Directors.
