Sandy Ryder
Sandy is thrilled to be back at the Purple Rose Theatre playing the role of Lady in this fall's production of Superior Donuts. She feels that sharing the stage with such a talented cast in such a great play is a true joy and honor, even better than the best donut in the world! Sandy is Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Wild Swan Theater, Michigan’s oldest not-for-profit professional theatre company for family audiences. Through her 33 years with Wild Swan, Sandy has been privileged to bring many of her favorite characters and stories to life such as Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web. Other favorite roles she has played include Ivy, from Wake at the Purple Rose, Lola from Come Back Little Sheba and Ouiser from Steel Magnolias, both Redbud Theatre productions, Not I with the Performance Network, and Sue in Ann Arbor Civic Theatre’s All My Sons.
