Apprenticeship
The Purple Rose Apprentice program is an intense, unique, hands-on opportunity to gain practical professional theatre experience by working in all areas of the theatre, alongside professional directors, designers, stage managers, actors and administrators.
Each apprenticeship is a full-time position, requiring an exclusive 12-month commitment. Apprentices work a minimum of 40 hours and as much as 60 - 80 hours per week. Because outside employment is not allowable, apprentices receive a modest living stipend, but housing is not included.

Apprentice applications are accepted year-round. Interviews for the upcoming season's positions will be held in May. Applications received after May 1 will be considered for the following season. All materials must be submitted in hard copy; supporting materials may be sent separately, but incomplete applications will not be considered.
