This workshop is intended for high school students who are interested in exploring the art of playwriting. Participants will learn the basic rules of dramatic structure, and use writing exercises to create monologues, scenes and the beginnings of a short play. The workshop will feature discussions, table readings and peer feedback. Instructors are PRTC resident artists Michelle Mountain and Heidi Bennett. The workshop will be held at the Chelsea District Library, located at 221 South Main Street, in Chelsea, MI.

There is no fee for accepted participants; however, students are expected to attend all four sessions.
