Play Development
Scripts are developed through the PRTC's unique "greenhouse" process, so-named because it is how we "grow" new plays and playwrights. A greenhouse provides a playwright and the budding script with anywhere from several days to a week of rehearsal with a professional director and actors; the process culminates in concert readings for live audiences. Be a part of the magic by attending an invitation-only greenhouse performance!
These special events are free of charge and feature feedback sessions with the director and actors, which help shape the new script. To receive advance invitations to greenhouse events, join our email list!
