DAVID BENDENA (Benjamin Wachowski) most recently appeared in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance at Tipping Point Theatre. He is thrilled to return to The Purple Rose to join this cast of the World Premiere of Smart Love. Other PRTC credits include The Odd Couple2AZThe Vast Difference and 33 Variations. Favorite Chicago Credits include Birdsend (Mary Arrchie Theatre Co.), Bent (Caught in the Act), Hyde in Hollywood and Requiem for a Heavyweight (Shattered Globe) and understudying roles in The Story and in Mariela in the Desert, both at The Goodman Theatre. SARAB KAMOO (Sandy Wachowski) is so thrilled to be back at The Purple Rose in Smart Love after having last been seen here in Consider the Oyster.  She was also seen here in And the Winner IsThe Underpants and Marcus is Walking.  Other most recent theater credits include: Dancing Lessons, and The Blank Page at the Jewish Ensemble Theater; Falling, and Luce at Meadow Brook Theater; Becky ShawGod of Carnage, and Sonia Flew at The Performance Network; 9 Parts of Desire (Critic’s Choice Award- Between the Lines) with Waterworks; Sleeping Country and Don’t Dress for Dinner at Tipping Point Theatre; Boom (Best Comedy- Between the Lines 2013) and Panache at Williamston Theatre. Film credits include the feature films StoneConvictionTrustThis Must Be The PlaceThe Giant Mechanical Man, and Won’t Back Down. Television movies include the Lifetime movie Secrets in the Walls, Mitch Albom’s Have a Little Faith, the ABC Family movie Lovestruck the Musical and episodes of Low Winter Sunand Chicago Fire.  In addition to her acting, Sarab is also a part-time school social worker in the Rochester School District. As always, she sends her never-ending love and gratitude to Tom, Grant, Joelle and Julia! WAYNE DAVID PARKER (Ron Wachowski) is excited to be back at the PRTC for his 25th production. Wayne was last seen in Escanaba in da Moonlight and is proud to have been part of all of the productions of the Escanaba trilogy. Other favorite shows at PRTC were The UnderpantsBook of Days, and The Tropical Pickle. Wayne has been seen at the Tipping Point Theatre, Meadowbrook Theatre, and The Detroit Repertory Theatre in the last two seasons. He currently teaches Acting for the Camera and Voiceover for MFA students at Wayne State University and The Michigan Actors Studio. Much love to his wife, Trish.

JIM PORTERFIELD (Victor Emmanuel) marks his twenty-first year at the Purple Rose, having done well over 1,000 performances in his involvement in over 20 plays. Jim has appeared as Albert Soady in Escanaba in da Moonlight by Jeff Daniels, Bernie in Some Couples May… by Carey Crim, Dr. Gibbs in Our Town by Thornton Wilder and John Locke in Gravity by David MacGregor, Honus Wagner in Honus And Me by Steven Dietz and Walt Bates in the World Premiere of Pulitzer Prize-winner Lanford Wilson’s Book of Days. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild/AFTRA and the Actors’ Equity Association.
