PRESS QUOTES

“The roughly 90-minute one-act play (no intermission) is intense at times. But we are so glued most of the time to the character, perseverance and faith of Mitchell and Olivia, their simple love and work ethic, their rock-ribbed “do unto others…” default point-of-view that we can find hope and something brighter to fix on. ”

EncoreMichigan

For anyone looking to understand the problems faced by so many individuals, couples, and families since the decline of Flint, or anyone who lived or is living through the very same things as Olivia, Mitchell, Karen, and Eddie, seeing this play is a must.

PRESS QUOTES

“The ladies of the show bring it. Sarab Kamoo, who plays Irene Adler, and Caitlin Cavannaugh, performing the part of Marie Chartier, both demonstrate their acting expertise. I love that playwright, David MacGregor, gave these women such strong roles. Instead of simply being there for looks or just acting as sidekicks, the play’s leading ladies are intelligent and involved in the center of the show’s plot.”

PRESS QUOTES

“Willow Run shows us not so much a road to the past for us to wax nostalgic about–millions died in combat and at the hands of the Nazis and Japanese–but to a time that was much sadder and heartfelt than a musical review would make us feel. As whole, though, the play is a wonderful shot to our American psyche and consciousness that reminds us that all good things are possible when we are about kindness, courage and compassion all at once. Willow Run is a roadmap to the future, to our better selves, for people willing to follow it.
