Peek behind the curtain at the Purple Rose!
Free backstage tours offer an insider’s look at The Purple Rose Theatre Company.
Groups of 15 to 50 visitors can enjoy a full-access tour of the theatre – including backstage areas, the scene shop, business offices and more – as well as a Q & A with Purple Rose staff, live demonstrations of various technical elements, an overview of Purple Rose history, theatre traditions, and a glimpse into the life of the professional actor.
Tours are available by appointment only and may be scheduled on Tuesday or Thursday mornings during production weeks. Contact info@purplerosetheatre.org for details and availability.
UPDATE: Due to COVID-19 mitigation policies, building tours are not being scheduled until further notice.
Join us for a post -performance Q & A and participate in an open forum discussion with Purple Rose artistic staff.
Preview discussions with the director and playwright follow the first five performances of each production and provide audience members the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback about shows in the final stages of rehearsal.
Post-show Discussions can also be scheduled upon request depending upon staff availability. If you would like to request a post-show Q & A for your group, mention it to our group sales manager, when making your reservation.
