Lot #2 – Weber’s Boutique Hotel Experience
Need a weekend getaway? Hosting out-of-town guests? Enjoy a Friday & Saturday night stay in a newly-remodeled poolside suite. Take a dip in the saltwater pool. Relax in the hot tub with a drink from the Cabana poolside bar. Enjoy a fine dining experience on Saturday evening with a voucher for Weber’s Restaurant. Lot #3 – Spencer Ann Arbor Wine Tasting
Steve Hall, owner of Spencer (downtown Ann Arbor) and curator of the 2023 & 2024 James Beard Award-finalist Wine Program, will present a wine tasting for six. Whether your interest is the regions of France, Italy or a general introduction to wine, the theme possibilities are endless and your choice. Also provided: delicious accompaniments from Plum Market.
The wine tasting will be available for your choice of Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evenings in June, July, or August only and will be held at Spencer (113 E Liberty St, Ann Arbor, MI 48104).

This package features: two gift certificates to The Purple Rose; a one-night hotel stay at the Comfort Inn of Chelsea; a gift certificate for dinner at the Common Grill; a gift card from the downtown wine shop, Withington’s; a gift card from The Potting Shed, a unique gift shop in the heart of downtown Chelsea (that could also be used at their other shops, Violet & Moss or Kitty Face).

Lot #5 – Farm Sudz Candle Making Workshop
A fun experience for 8 adults (21 & over)! Farm Suds offers soaps, skin care and more at their fabulously funky downtown Chelsea shop. You and your friends will enjoy making candles using the lovely scents, wax, and flowers that this shop offers. Just bring your enthusiasm and a wicked sense of humor. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Workshop must be completed by October 1, 2024.

Lot #7 – Tech Day Experience
Watch The Purple Rose bring a new play to life with this ultimate backstage pass! Tech Day is when the director and designers add technical elements that set the stage – costumes, sound, and lighting. Enjoy an afternoon, with food and beverages provided, and hear directly from the director, playwright, and designers. Our fall comedy by Jeff Daniels is based on an actual MLIVE news headline from Northern Michigan: “Office Christmas Party – Grinch Fights Rudolph – Police Called.” This Fall 2024 experience is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024.

Lot #8 – Crystal Downs Golf Package & Augusta Flag Signed by Tiger Woods
Crystal Downs Country Club is considered one of the world’s best golf courses. Designed by renowned golf architect Alister MacKenzie, the course is laid out on a bluff about five-miles north of Frankfort, Michigan. Three people will be invited to play with member, Craig Brass, who has generously donated this unique item. You will also receive an Augusta National Masters flag autographed by Tiger Woods.

Served in our beautifully-restored farmhouse dining room, guests will enjoy a 4-course meal with beer and wine. This dinner is available for up to 10 people on Monday and Wednesday dates. Select weekend dates may be available upon request.

Winning bidder will be responsible to provide:
* If within 120 miles of Chelsea, Michigan; Jeff will drive himself, equipment, and Sound Operator.
* If outside 120 miles from Chelsea, Michigan; one round-trip flight (First Class) and car service to & from the airports is required.
* Hotel stay
* Renting mutually agreed upon sound equipment (preferred: JBL PRX ONE Powered Column PA Speaker or Bose L1 Pro 16 Portable PA Speaker). If outside 120 miles from Chelsea, Michigan, a local, professional Sound person to set up, test, operate, tear down and return the Sound equipment.
Lot #11 – Detroit Tigers 2024 Tickets
As summer approaches, you and your guests can enjoy the view right behind home plate with 4 tickets to a Detroit Tigers game at Comerica Park! These incredible seats are available for the September 14, 2024, 6:40 pm game vs. the Baltimore Orioles. Tickets will be in Section 124, Row 16. M1 Transportation is donating round-trip, luxury SUV service within 75 miles of the stadium for you to sit back, relax, and not worry about parking.

Your winning bid for the Playwright Consultation with David MacGregor entitles you to five hours of one-on-one consultations with our very own Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright. Ten of his plays have been produced at the Purple Rose, and he has had productions in eighteen different countries. Start a play! Finish a play! David would be happy to discuss your ideas and/or critique any work you have in progress. Depending on your location, this can either be in person, over Zoom, or over the phone.
