Matt Taylor brings a dynamic mix of artistry and precision to his work as a lighting designer for theatre, dance, concerts, and live events. An associate professor at Wayne State University in Detroit, Matt is passionate about storytelling through light and space. In addition to The Purple Rose, his work has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and at regional and international venues including the Old Globe, Ford’s Theatre, Centro de Convenciones Figali, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Matt proudly belongs to United Scenic Artists Local 829.
