Our summer production is Emma’s Wedding(s), a world-premiere comedy by Purple Rose Resident Playwright, Carey Crim. Emma is getting married. Again. For the fourth time, actually. But she’s determined that this one will be the one. Gathering her less-than-enthusiastic best friends, they revisit each of Emma’s previous weddings, leading to a hilarious romp through the decades, complete with ’80s hair, dial-up internet, Boone’s Farm wine and the enduring power of friendship.
