Dwandra holds an MFA in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory and is a Professor of Theatre at Western Michigan University. Regionally, Dwandra has performed at the Tony Award winning Denver Center Theatre, The Huntington Theatre in Boston, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, the Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Human Race Theatre in Dayton, and the National Black Theatre in NYC. Memorable roles include Mrs. Muller in Doubt, Matron Mama Morton in Chicago, Faye in Skeleton Crew, and Roxanne in the world premiere of Origin Story, by Nathan Alan Davis. Television: Law & Order, Third Watch, Law & Order: SVU, Wonderland. Dwandra has also written a one-woman show entitled, The Conviction of Lady Lorraine.
