2026/2027 General Audition Notice 

It’s Audition Season!

The Purple Rose Theatre Company will be holding two days of in-person general auditions to meet new, inspiring artists in Southeast Michigan and beyond!

Monday, April 27th from 10AM until 3PM and
Tuesday, April 28th from 1PM until 7PM at
The Purple Rose Theatre Company

Submission Guidelines

Please be prepared with two contrasting monologues that are each 1-minute in length each. Bring one headshot and one resume with you to the audition.

*Be prepared to spend some time completing the registration form and a brief survey during your appointment time. Remember to have your calendar handy so that you can let us know on the registration form of any schedule conflicts you may have.

Video Submissions Instructions

For artists outside of our market (50mi radius) we will accept video submissions following the  same guidelines as in person. Please email your headshot, resume along with your video submission to: info@purplerosetheatre.org, subject line ATTN: Auditions.

Self-tape two contrasting monologues no more than 1-minute in length each. Please also include a full body slate with professional and/or legal name, preferred pronouns, union status, and any representation. 

Video submissions may be submitted from Tuesday, April 8, 2026 to Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 6:00PM
