As a nonprofit, we rely on the generosity of others to help us carry out our efforts. It’s that effort, however big or small, that goes directly to helping our theatre grow! There are two volunteer teams that you can join at the PRTC: Ushering or Development/Event Volunteers!
Ushering
The Purple Rose welcomes volunteer ushers throughout the season! We ask all ushers to arrive one hour before show time to assist our House Manager, help patrons to their seats, and manage coat check during the winter months. This is a wonderful way to help your favorite non-profit theatre and see a show for free!

You may sign up for usher positions as soon as general ticket sales begin for each show.

We can use 2-4 ushers per performance.

We welcome anyone with varying time commitments to join our Development/Event volunteer team! If you are interested in development or helping with special events please contact our admin office to sign up for more opportunities!
