Born in Detroit, Michael spent several years in Chicago and Minneapolis before returning to Michigan in 1986. Michael worked for many years as a writer and creative professional before pursuing his dream of turning his acting hobby into a profession, proudly graduating from Wayne State University in 2015 with a BA in Theatre. In addition to The Purple Rose, his (now) 20+ year acting resume includes performances at WSU’s Hilberry, Bonstelle, and Studio theaters in Detroit, Stagecrafters and the Water Works Theatre Company in Royal Oak, the Ridgedale Players in Troy, and the Farmington Players in Farmington Hills. Mike is also a playwright, director and automotive purchasing consultant.
