Wild Apple Farms Experience
Generously provided by Amy Ramsey, Wild Apple Farms
There’s nothing like a fall day in Michigan. Spend a day at the Wild Apple Farms, located in Dexter, Michigan!
This package includes your choice of:
- Feeding Icelandic sheep and participating in natural dying of wool outside with plant-based, all natural dyes gathered from nature.
– or –
- Utilizing fresh local A2 milk for a basic class in churning fresh butter and how to properly feed, maintain and bake with sourdough starter for sourdough breads. (We will bake a loaf and serve it with fresh butter). Or we can make fresh cheese. It’s dependent on my goat herd. Either way, you’ll have fresh dairy at the farm!
This experience includes a tour of the farm, animals and explanations/demonstrations of how things are still done to honor traditional methods. You will take home items from either package choice of freshly dyed natural wool, sourdough starter, fresh churned butter or cheese and a piping hot loaf of fresh bread.
Farm experience is best suited to late September or early October due to seasonality of the
animals/items. Expiration – October 2028
